.This introductory day is designed to give an overview of current issues in Autism and Aspergers Syndrome. For LSA's, Teachers, Parents, Family Members, Carers & other Professionals. The desired outcome is for participants to gain in "Understanding" of the nature of Autism and an orientation towards strategies which Autistic people often find helpful. This will form a basis to access our follow on courses that examine selected areas, within the field of autism in more detail: Using Structure to Support Individuals with ASDs. (one day), Communication & Social Interaction (one Day).
