ANNUAL GOLF EVENT
4th July 2008 RESULTS
The NSA Has been involved with Two Golf days
in 2008
On the 4th June 2008 The Nationwide General
Insurance Charity Day was held for the second
year running at Overstone Golf Club. 28 Teams
took part from all over the country. The
weather was kind and the tremendous fundraising
efforts of David Harrison ensured the day
was a great success with £5000 being raised
towards the work of the Society.
The Winning Teams were 1st Place Dog and
His Bones from RBS Insurance on 124 points,
2nd place Al & His Hacks from Churchills
Insurance on 123 points and 3rd Place went
to Team Clarity from Clarity Credit Management
on 119 points.
NSA Golf Day
On the 4th July the NSA held its own annual
Charity Golf day with 18 teams taking part.
It was a glorious sunny day with lots of
suntan and water needed. A total of £1576
was raised . Our thanks once again go to
all teams taking part and to Bob Montgomery
from Rotary Northampton Becket for helping
with the scoring.
1st Place Congratulations to F.D.F on 130
points who have supported our event for many
years. 2nd Place to Jackson Grundy on 128
points who were knocked off their top slot
from last year. Individual winners prize
went to Derek Weekley from Jackson Gundy
on 42 points and 2nd Place went
to Mark Fowles from the Grizzly Bears on
41 points after a three-way countback.
